Image tags in HTML

In HTML the <img> tag is used to insert image into web page. The <img> tag is an empty tag which contains attributes only, and it does not have a closing tag. The basic syntax of Image tag is :
<img src="image.png" />
Where the src attribute specifies the URL of the image file. The different attributes used in image tag is as follows :

src : The src attribute specifies the URL (web address) of the image.
alt : The alt attribute is used to define an "alternate text" for an image.
height : The height attribute specifies the height of the element, in pixels.
width : The width attribute specifies the width of the element, in pixels.
