JavaScript math Object : asin()

The asin() method returns the arcsine of a number, in radians. It returns a numeric value between -pi/2 and pi/2 radians for given number between -1 and 1. If the value of number is outside this range, it returns NaN.

Syntax :
  Math.asin( number );
Example :

  var x = -1;
  var y = Math.asin(x);
  document.write("asin(-1) : " + y + "<br/>");
  var x = 5;
  var y = Math.asin(x);
  document.write("asin(5) : " + y + "<br/>");
